Honoring Your Beloved Animal Today 💜

Hi Reader

Love Never Leaves Us.

And neither do our animals.

Today is World Pet Memorial Day—a sacred moment to pause and honor the animals who have given us unconditional love and companionship.

Their love was like a never-ending embrace.

And when they departed, they left their prints on our hearts that changed us forever.

Losing my 22½-year-old cat, Mona Marie, last September was devastating. Living without her has been difficult—for both me and Yogi Bear.

The quiet moments still catch me by surprise. But knowing that we are always connected brings me solace, despite missing her with all my heart and soul.

Here are a few gentle ways to honor them today:

  • Light a candle and say their name out loud
  • Create a small altar with their photo, collar or favorite toy
  • Write them a love letter
  • Schedule a session to share your heart with your cherished friend.

Today and every day, let’s honor their love together.

Because our animals and our love for them don't disappear when they transitions.

Instead, our relationship transforms, deepens, and stays with us.

Always.

Blessings,

~Cat

Hey Friends, America’s 250th birthday bash has begun. And with it, I’m sad to say, the fireworks have started that will only get louder and more frequent through the Fourth of July weekend. If you live with an animal who is sensitive to sound, you may already be feeling the stress in your home. I know I am. My dog, Yogi Bear, gets extremely anxious when he hears fireworks. Yogi Bear is not a fan of fireworks. And it’s heartbreaking watching him suffer. Our pets don’t understand why their...

Happy Hanukah 2025

Yo! Yo! Yo! (That's Yogi speak for Oy, Oy, Oy!) Mensch Yogi Bear Tonight's sunset marks the first night of the Jewish holiday, Hanukkah, also known as the Festival of Lights. The Hanukkah miracle involves a tiny amount of oil, enough for just one day, lasting eight days. The Festival of Lights celebrates this miracle by lighting the menorah for eight straight days. This inspirational holiday is about light, hope, and resilience, even when times feel uncertain. Animals reflect these same...

September is National Responsible Dog Ownership Month. As a Pet Parenting Specialist and Animal Communicator, I've found that being a responsible dog parent is about more than walks, food, and belly rubs. September's focus on responsible ownership offers us a chance to explore our role as pet guardians. In just the last few weeks, I’ve had multiple sessions where a loving dog parent asked the gut-wrenching question: Is my dog better off in a new home? The decision to rehome a pet is often...
