Well, not up my sleeve, Reader. It's more like fostering a sweet kitten who has a broken femur named Finnegan (He came with the name Spike, but he told me his name was Finnegan) ➡️ The original plan was to foster 2 littermate kittens, Jack and Minnie, from the Connecticut Humane Society, where I've volunteered for the past 4 years. It wasn't my plan to foster a kitten with special needs or bring a 3rd kitten home--- As fate would have it, when I went to pick Minnie and Jack up at the shelter, I was told that another kitten from the same hoarding situation was in desperate need of a foster home, or his leg might have to be amputated. Turns out his original foster mom bailed on him when she found out that he needed to be on crate rest. What can I say? I'm a sucker for a handsome kitty face and agreed to "rent out" my guest room to Finnegan for as long as needed. 🙀Once I arrived home with 3 kittens-- I said to myself~~What am I nuts⁉️⁉️ Minnie and Jack bunked in the guest bathroom, where I spent a long weekend socializing them. I did a good job because these 2 shy kittens were put up for adoption a week later. Big dilemma. I had to make a choice since I only wanted 2 kittens, not 3. When I found out that Minnie and Jack weren't a bonded pair, I decided to return Jack since I hope to adopt Finnegan when he is available. Jack's a super cool kitty dude with angel wings on his back so I know he'll find an pawsome furrever home. So, for now, I'm fostering Finnegan, who will be on crate rest for at least another two weeks. I have to say, Finn's handling it really well. Certainly a lot better than I would! Plus, Finn and Minnie love each other. 💞 ✅ My biggest challenge? Keeping an eye on Minnie, who loves to rumble with Finnegan and keeping Finn quiet!! More kitten tails to come! Happy trails, ~Cat, Minnie and Yogi Bear

Well, not really dragged in, Reader. It's more like I fostered 3 kittens and fell heads over heels in love. After my genuinely cat-astrophic attempt at online kitten dating, Yogi Bear and I finally found our little girl. Minerva aka Minnie This time, instead of swiping right, I went with what I know and trust: a reputable animal rescue organization that prioritizes the animals' welfare. I brought Minnie home as a foster for the CT Humane Society and immediately fell in love. I officially...
