Being catless since Mona Marie transitioned in September has been harder than I ever imagined.

My Elvis, who transitioned 2 ½ years ago, recently reached out telepathically from Spirit and told me it was time to look for my new kitten friends since I hope to welcome a boy and girl.

Elvis said it would be easy to find them.

But where to start?

22 years ago, you visited several animal shelters and interviewed many kittens in person before finding Mona and Elvis.

Nowadays, it’s all about scrolling through endless kitten photos online in hopes of spotting my friends and then interviewing them telepathically.

It feels kinda like internet dating.

I'm grateful I can communicate telepathically with animals because I get how choosing a new pet can feel overwhelming and even scary at times.
